02. Specific Financial Disclosures
All authors, editors, and contributors involved in creating content for OGPSGroup must disclose, in writing, any direct or indirect financial interests or significant relationships that could be perceived to influence their work. This includes, but is not limited to:
Equity Holdings
Any ownership stakes in (or significant investments in) outdoor product manufacturing companies, component suppliers, raw material providers, logistics firms, or major retailers within the outdoor and garden sector.
Consulting Engagements
Any past or present paid or unpaid consulting roles for, or advisory board positions with, entities operating within our industry niche.
Material Royalties & Licensing
Any personal financial gain from royalties, licensing fees, or sales commissions related to specific product designs, patents, or manufacturing processes discussed in their content.
Significant Gifts & Hospitality
Receipt of gifts exceeding $100 in value, or extensive hospitality (e.g., travel, accommodation) from any industry participant.
Family & Close Personal Relationships
Any immediate family members or close associates holding senior positions or significant financial interests in relevant industry entities.
Tooling & IP Ownership
Any personal or directly held intellectual property (e.g., patents, tooling designs) that is commercially used or discussed by OGPSGroup or its partners.
03. Review Samples & Beta Access Policy
When products, components, or manufacturing processes are provided to OGPSGroup for evaluation (e.g., for technical review, material testing, or pilot runs), our policy is as follows:
No Retention of Samples
All physical product samples, prototype units, or specific tooling provided by clients or third-party suppliers for evaluation will be either returned upon completion of testing/review or properly disposed of, unless explicitly purchased and recorded as OGPSGroup's property. We do not accept "loaner units" with the expectation of indefinite retention.
Strict Confidentiality for Beta Access
Access to proprietary manufacturing processes, pre-production runs, or unreleased product designs ("beta access") is granted under strict, signed NNN agreements. All information obtained is for internal technical assessment only and will not be disclosed externally or used to influence editorial content without explicit, written client permission and appropriate disclosure.
No Compensation for Reviews
OGPSGroup personnel do not accept any direct financial compensation or non-standard benefits from manufacturers or clients for favorable reviews or technical assessments. Any travel or accommodation costs incurred for factory audits or client meetings are covered by OGPSGroup or explicitly reimbursed as standard business expenses, never as an undisclosed gratuity.
04. Advertising Firewall
There is an absolute firewall between our content creation teams, technical review departments, and any advertising or sales functions. Content decisions are made solely on the basis of accuracy, technical merit, and relevance to our industry. OGPSGroup operates with unwavering independence from all commercial and external pressures. Our editorial content and operational narratives are fact-based, technical, and client-centric, never swayed by financial inducements or market influence.
05. Manufacturer & Supplier Neutrality
While we highlight our own manufacturing capabilities and our vetted partner network, we rigorously avoid biased comparisons or unsubstantiated critiques of competitors. Our focus is on demonstrating our verifiable strengths and transparent processes. Any discussion of third-party products or processes is based on publicly available data, documented specifications, or verified test results.
06. Client Autonomy
Our content will not reveal proprietary client information, trade secrets, or project-specific details without explicit, written consent, even when discussing successful collaborations. Our focus remains on the processes and solutions OGPSGroup provides, not the confidential specifics of any client's business. Any pressure to alter technical assessments or compliance reports for commercial gain is unequivocally rejected.
