Dongguan Furniture Market.
Houjie OEM, Hotel FF&E & One Consolidated FCL.
Dongguan doesn't sell you a showroom — it sells you a plant that can build to spec. Houjie fronts the trade: the fair, Furniture Avenue, the material markets. Dalingshan builds it: 390+ export firms behind the booths. OGPSGroup walks the fair with you, audits the maker in person, signs the sample, then ships Dongguan and Foshan volume as one consolidated container.
A buyer's-week catalogue — walk the fair, audit the plant, ship one container.
Houjie — The Fair Floor.
Houjie runs the fair that sets China's furniture calendar. The Famous Furniture Fair Dongguan opened in March 1999 and has run 55 editions from the Guangdong Modern International Exhibition Center on Furniture Avenue in Houjie — roughly 700,000 sqm of floor and 900 exhibitors, UFI-certified, with the 56th edition dated 16–20 March 2027.
Walk the Floor
Two days, one notebook. We mark the lines that match your category and price band and walk past the rest — no brochure collecting.
Shortlist the Maker
Every tagged exhibit has a plant behind it, in Houjie or Dalingshan. Each shortlist entry gets a factory visit slot before you leave town.
Audit the Plant
We drive to the maker, not the booth: welds, jigs, finishing line, and a capacity read measured against the quantity you actually need.
Buyer's Week is the format we run at every trade show — see our exhibition service →
The OEM Belt — Houjie & Dalingshan.
The Dongguan furniture manufacturers filling these containers sit in two towns — Dongguan sofa manufacturers, case-goods plants and contract seating lines among them. Houjie is the trade face. Dalingshan is the factory floor — billed "China's No.1 Furniture Export Town," with 390+ furniture enterprises (2023) and 84 above-scale makers, and the No.1 township in China for furniture export value for eleven straight years.
Bars show relative in-town capacity for our programmes — indicative, not a published ranking. Every family here is bought through our product sourcing teams.
Houjie
The fair floor, the 5 km Furniture Avenue, and the raw-material markets that feed every plant in the belt — where a spec gets shown, priced, and matched to a maker.
Dalingshan
390+ furniture enterprises and 84 above-scale makers built for export — the plant side of the Dongguan furniture OEM trade, and the reason an audit here is worth the drive.
Every listed plant is vetted and re-audited under our quality control standard before it enters a buy list.
Dongguan or Foshan? Route the Piece.
Dalingshan alone produced 9.3% of Dongguan's furniture output in 2022 — from a single export township. No town does everything, so route the piece, not the container: Dongguan wins on contract seating, hotel-grade case goods, and export finishing; Foshan wins on outdoor metal, volume upholstery, and wholesale breadth.

Read the Foshan file →Hotel & Contract Furniture.
For buyers pricing Dongguan hotel furniture, this is the file that matters: hotel and contract FF&E shown across a 400,000 sqm exposition floor — the Home Furniture Expo Park — where project-grade lines sit beside the OEMs that build them. The cluster's OEMs have supplied projects serving Wynn, MGM, Ritz-Carlton, Four Seasons, Marriott and Hilton.
Hospitality flags the town's contract OEMs have built for — not an OGPSGroup client list. Confirm project references during the plant audit.
Furniture Avenue. Five Kilometres Deep.
The Houjie furniture market runs on one road. Furniture Avenue stretches five kilometres, lined with 192 showrooms turning over roughly ¥24B a year. It's the walkable index to everything the town builds, and the quickest way to see a category's full range before you commit to a plant.
Furniture Avenue is stop one on our China sourcing tour, where we walk the markets and the plants in the same week.
Inputs Next Door — Dalingshan & the Rest.
Dongguan doesn't need a 10 km raw-material ring — it has its own. Houjie runs 10 raw-material markets across 800,000+ sqm with more than ¥48B in annual turnover, and Dalingshan adds panel and hardware trade alongside. Boards, veneers, foam and fittings sit minutes from the plants that consume them.
We won't draw you a tidy 10 km sourcing circle. Dongguan's inputs are spread across Houjie's material markets and Dalingshan's trade streets — the point is that they're in-town and same-week, not that they sit on one ring road. If a component has to come from Foshan instead, we say so before the quote.
Booth Price vs Plant Price.
Houjie counts 500+ above-scale furniture enterprises today — older figures put it nearer 170+, so treat the range as a count that has grown fast. At fair time they all price for the booth; the same plants price for the floor. The gap is the fair premium: display-piece margin, hall rental, and the agent standing in between.
How OGPSGroup Buys Dongguan.
Houjie's above-scale furniture output ran to ¥7.17B in 2022 — the town we buy inside every week. This is the part we do for you: shortlist at the fair, audit the plant, sign the sample, and carry the order to the port.
Tag the Booth
We work the fair against your category and price band, and tag only the exhibits that have a plant we can stand in.
Audit the Maker
On the floor we check welds, jigs and finishing, then measure the line’s real capacity against your order quantity.
Sign Off the Sample
A pre-production sample is built to your drawing pack and signed off before production starts.
Book the FCL
Your Dongguan order joins any Foshan volume in one mixed-load container — inspected, booked and shipped by us.
One team walks the fair, stands on the plant floor, signs the sample, and books the container — so nothing about your order is lost between a booth and a broker.

FAQ — Field Notes.
The questions that surface when a buyer first prices Dongguan — what the town is known for, when the fair runs, and where the booth premium hides.
Contract and hospitality, plus deep OEM capacity. Houjie runs the trade — the Famous Furniture Fair Dongguan, Furniture Avenue, and the material markets behind them — while Dalingshan does the export building. If your programme needs hotel FF&E, engineered seating, or case goods built to a spec sheet rather than bought off a showroom floor, this is the town.
The show launched in March 1999 and has run 55 editions from the Guangdong Modern International Exhibition Center on Furniture Avenue in Houjie — around 700,000 sqm of floor and 900 exhibitors, UFI-certified. The 56th edition is dated 16–20 March 2027, so plan the buyer's week around that March window rather than expecting an autumn show.
No — OGPSGroup doesn't exhibit, and you don't need a booth to buy. We run the fair as a buyer's week: walk the floor to shortlist, then drive to the plant to audit the maker behind the exhibit. The booth is the introduction; the factory floor is where the order is actually placed.
The contract and export side of furniture: hotel and hospitality FF&E, engineered and upholstered seating, case goods and cabinets, panel-assembled furniture, and metal accents. Categories Dongguan doesn't specialise in — outdoor metal, garden shade, volume upholstery — come out of Foshan, and we consolidate both into a single container.
It's one of the strongest clusters in China for it. Houjie shows project-grade FF&E across a 400,000 sqm exposition floor, and the town's OEMs have supplied projects serving Wynn, MGM, Ritz-Carlton, Four Seasons, Marriott and Hilton. What you're really buying is a plant's ability to hold a spec across a full guestroom package — which is exactly what our audits check.
Four moves: shortlist at the fair, audit the plant in person, sign the pre-production sample, then consolidate with any Foshan volume into one mixed-load FCL. You get a single accountable team from the booth to the container, with no layer between the maker's price and yours.
Dongguan's real minimum is a container, not a factory quota — and a mixed load gets you there faster than one category alone. Programme scope and the annual minimum are set on the call (see below), so we can size the first order to what you actually ship.
